Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Way too young.....................a humble person, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a good chef, a multi award winning journalist and no doubt an inspiration to so many.

RIP

Foot freezing temperature here in the wonderful west this morning!

Good morning Friends ...... Stringers or not Smiley LOL

Freddie I had not read about Tomic - quietly pleased.  Next is Kyrgios ..... fingers crossed Smiley Frustrated

Such a loss Kopes - not only to good investigative journalism Smiley Sad

I failed to read between your lines on the MC thread Kopes - about listening to judges advice - and was really disappointed to see Hoda go.  Ben's lamington was just awful and I had thought he would be the one waving goodbye.

Hope you have enjoyable weekends planned ........ nothing structured for us here and that suits me fine.

I was sure Ben was going and thought Hoda's different idea was quite good but to remake the cake mix, not good.

Nothing like a close game, very exciting and I'm glad the dogs got the win seeing as their unfortunate injuries. (sorry nics) Smiley Wink

Sorry to bring bad news lane and freddie but -

Bernard Tomic has received an incredible last-minute reprieve as he received a lucky loser entry just prior to the Wimbledon 2018 draw.

Tomic suffered a final-round qualifying defeat but received a lucky loser entry following the withdrawal of 14th seed Roberto Bautista-Agut to give Australia 10 players in the men's singles at The All England Club.

Bautista-Agut's scratching also elevated Nick Kyrgios from 16th to 15th in the seedings, with Australia's top title hope projected to run into German fourth seed Alexander Zverev in the fourth round.

Kopes thanks for that info - I had actually heard that in the radio later that evening and was not sure how I felt regarding his good fortune as the result of another's misfortune.

No comment regarding the match results today (except for the win by Frank's boys) - pay back for being pleased tne Eagurls lost I guess Smiley LOLSmiley LOL

Oh well - not a first world problem.  Now for tonights Masterchef with the 'royal touch' Smiley Wink

Wimbledon tomorrow woooohooooo - one of the benefits of being here in the wonderful west is that our time difference makes it two hours easier to watch.  Preparing for a few late nights/early mornings though Smiley Happy

Hope you all had a happy weekend ..... it has been cold here today and we are facing a week of rain - staying indoors sounds like the go!

Glad to see they did not call on you as a reserve Freddie - a little too early to risk damage to that knee of yours.
