Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Good afternoon footy/netball/simply 'doing nothing' watchers Smiley Happy

Intermittent rain here so making the most of the soaked soil to 'relocate' some weeds to the green bin in between showers.  Bucketing down right now!

Little comment about the football except to say I hope the Pies lift their score so that the percentages do not favour the Eagurls too much.  Painful result for the Demons last night and reports of the after match melee say so much about supporters.

Looking forward to Masterchef this evening.  In the meantime, catching up on news around the place and thought magpie (NOT Collingwood ones) lovers might be interested in this article about a leucistic magpie on the ABC website.

we watched that Melb. match last night.. felt so sorry for Melbourne.. i was impressed with their team play and handling of the ball, they need to be more accurate in scoring though

I haven't seen the disturbance at that game yet, just a snippet on the news so far

Afternoon from a wet and windy WA!

Laughed with relief when the weather bureau man described the weather as 'character building' in that it hit around the time school students were being let out.  My relief was occasioned by the fact that we did not have to be out in it ...... past that 'character building' phase Smiley Very Happy

Enjoyed MC last evening - actually very surprised how Ben has 'grown' with his cooking.  Still want Khahn and Jess to go to GF but it really does not matter (at least to us) as it has been a thoroughly enjoyable series.

Enforced 'indoors' has resulted in heaps being done around the place - at least with respect to paperwork.  Might don the apron and do some cooking (thanks Freddie for your recipe) ..... musroom risotto later so figure a date loaf could be some occupational therapy right now.

Those fires in Greece are just horrendous Deb - so many lives lost and so many children in those losses.  It will take a very long time for psychological renewal (if ever) for those surviving.  So very sad.  Good to know your niece is well away from that area Deb.

Hope all our friends are well.  Glad we are not going through the building stages - more power to you all.

Seems an appropriate song right now (if you like Johnny Cash's Folsom Prison Blues that is Smiley Wink) with all the news of the prison breakout from Greenough Regional Prison overnight.  One escapee still on the run ......
