Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Round Table Revisited

Hi TGSE

Sunday - a day of rest for us ........ at least from the work on the tennis courts Smiley Wink

Thanks for the heads up about Markus Zusak - following your recommendation some time ago I did read the Book Thief (thoroughly enjoyed it) and am currently about 34 on my library wait list for his latest book so will be very interested to hear his talk, in fact, a friend and I had already registered for it.  I don't 'do' FB but have always taken a keen interest and been active in the Fringe Festival events.  Will talk with you closer to the event about meeting up.

I could not help thinking Ash Barty had gone on a bit of a walkabout at times Kopes.

The result was disappointing but with her dedication and commitment perhaps next year it will be hers.

At least she goes forward into the Aus Open with a great deal of confidence having beaten some of the giants en route to the finals.

Great result for Alex, particularly given the impact of the weather on his match times.  His energy seemed unflagging and I suspect

Seppi thought so at times too.

Sure hope he can manage his recovery well enough for his first match in Melbourne tomorrow - scheduled for 3.00pm I think.

I am working tomorrow so might miss it - will look forward to hearing the results

Hi tennis fanatics and others too Smiley Happy

Some great results, some not so much, some REVOLTING outfits (no names no pack drill) and some nasty behaviour in post match interviews.  The Australian Open has it all - some we could do without.

Enjoy whatever you are doing - stay cool if you can.
