Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Hi Laney,

Speaking of footy we both had good wins however not going overboard as we have the swans this coming weekend. If we happen to win we might find ourselves in the 8.

Had a lovely Easter Laney, Fiona decided to have lunch at the local hotel (The Peppercorn) and the meal was delicious.

Yes Kopes and Deb would be disappointed in their Tigers.

Round Table Revisited

Hi all,

Went to the game last night, first time in many years.

Invited by one of our suppliers, dinner, drinks etc. and a great view.

Good game and more even than the score showed.

Richmond missed around 6 easy kicks that should have been goals.

But it makes it 4 losses in a row, so that's not good form for a side with many great players.

3 straight for Geelong and even though Freo lost this week, they had a great win last week.

The torch came out on horseback before the game with a very moving Last Post played whilst the crowd lit their phones. Beautiful sight.

Lest we forget.

Hi Kopes

Great to see you ..... it has been a while!

I was listening to the ABC broadcast en route home from work yesterday and it certainly was very moving despite not 'seeing' it.  Thought I had some dust in my eyes but no ........ it was tears.

I did feel sorry for the bugler who hit one wrong note though - must be so difficult in front of such a large crowd.

Nics Cats were the only ones to get a win this round and what a huge score that was .... certainly moved them up the ladder quickly.

Hope your day is peaceful and relaxing Kopes 😊

Morning Laney and Kopes,

Let`s hope this weekend your teams will put a smile on your face. It will be interesting  to see how the twins(Chris & Brad) will coach their teams. Eva,  my 7 year old granddaughter has her cross country at school today. I hope she enjoys herself although she is complaining of a "sore" ankle and doesn`t want to come last...kids..lol

Hi Nics

Thankfully I doubt any of us rely on our teams to put smiles on our faces .........

I can imagine the smile on your face when you heard that your grandie managed to complete her cross country at school today - and not in last place either!

A break in the clouds today meant an enjoyable day in the garden doing some planting.

Hope you all had good days too! 😁

A pinch and a punch 1st of the month!!  I was up in Yea on Sat as Jack was celebrating his 14th birthday,  I got to meet his girlfriend and we all had tea at the local pub. Driving home we encountered lots of fog so was very thankful Melissa was driving and it was so cold when we arrived home. Not used to be out at night..lol

Geelong are doing ok, & it`s nice to see Hawkins kick so many goals.

Hopefully Fremantle and Richmond will get back on track!
