'Interesting' matches eh!!!!  You are right Nics - nerves were on edge - pleased with the result though ..... 2 points are better than 0.  It was exciting to watch the Dockers come back at full speed in that last quarter - but where was that energy in the third?  They are still suffering from Cam's death I know - heartbreaking 😢

Sorry your teams did not fare well friends.  Gosh Kopes, where have the Tigers got to?  So, so different to past years!

Lovely rain here and more predicted this coming week - the gardens are smiling today  😁

Long weekend here this weekend - Western Australia Day on Monday.  It is going to be a very wet weekend - not complaining though 😂

Kopes I am sure Laney will be so happy with her dockers they absolutely crushed the demons! I turned the tv off when your guys were up by 5 goals thinking here we go another loss, but after half time they started to play well and eventually won. Next week we have the swannies and that I am sure I won`t be clapping my hands at the end of it.

Enjoying the tennis results at the moment - good to see the young uns coming through for a change.  Naturally De Minaur is a favourite but I personally really like Sinner also.  Shame about Djokovic's withdrawal through injury but to be honest not sorry to see him out.

In for more heavy rain from tomorrow on - might have to repair the ark!!!!

Nics - hope all OK with you and that you are enjoying the current match.  Your Cats are showing the Swans what it is all about.  Hope they maintain the rage!

We have a bye this weekend so really looking forward to the men's final in the French open tonight - Zverev V Alcaraz.  I know how long Zverev has been trying to win a major but tonight we are barracking for Alcaraz.

No comments on the Archibald from anyone - I quite liked the Tim Winton portrait but the Sulman and Wynne prizes left me underwhelmed.

Tour De France coming up towards the end of the  month - it starts in Florence so I am looking forward to seeing that ...... it being my home for quite a few happy years and many returns (a long time ago sadly).

Sydney are always good in Sydney, especially this year.

Archibald Prize, I really liked the packing room winner.

Some very skilful artists though.

I had 4 days off this weekend, always a nice change.

A little potting and gardening done.
