I feel so sorry for the peole in the inner suburbs of Melb. who are going to lose their homes due to the east/west tunnel. Apparently they managed to get the geotechnical drillers to stop work this morning

Are you enjoying the school holidays? i used to love it when my kids were little and they were home. I feel a bit different about them being home now though

I don't see how they'll be able to stop it, but IMO there wasn't enough warning/preparation/consultation done & we are losing way too many of our lovely old buildings in Melb. Kind of reminds me of the 70's,when they pulled everything down to build flats

Yesterday my cat who is an inside cat got out for about three hours

We had to go out and she must've got out right before we went and we didn't realise but when we got home there she was sitting in the garden yelling at us. Thank goodness she didn't go very far and came right up to me when I called her.

Gosh I love that cat, I mean gosh I hate that cat
