Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Buzz how old is your dog?

Reason I ask is that perhaps he/she might be a candidate for the iodine treatment our cat had successfully.  It gave her a few more years of good life without the yowling.

She is older than the average lifespan for her breed.

She saw the vet a couple of months ago and was prescribed doggy valium type medicine for when I have people over (she freaks out if I speak to other people) or if it is raining (she can't stand the rain, against her window Cat LOL ) or if a storm is coming and a barking citronella collar.  She also has a Thundershirt. (waste of money but I pop it on her if I am home when it looks stormy, doggy valium works better).

I will Google what dog friendly food has iodine in it and try some and see.

You sound as thought you have and are investigating all avenues Buzz

Good on you

The iodine treatment is a radioactive treatment rather than a food based treatment where our cat was kept in isolation until the radioactivity dispersed.  I think it acts on the thyroid but honestly am not sure - all I know is that it worked for us.

Sounds like you have it as much under control as you can without the alternative we took.

Thanks for the feedback on the robo vac Buzz.  I was seriously thinking about one mainly because  the moulting from Baloo drives me mad.  I thought that maybe if I did a really good vacuum I could then set the Robo to do it once a day.

It doesn't sound like it really.  I think he sheds about ten times the amount than a cat would.  I really wish I could  borrow one for a little while to see if it would work because they are not cheap.

Good morning Stringsters ๐Ÿ™‚

I don't know anyone with one of those vacuums or I would ask for you Joono. I am sure there would be homes where they are ideal and homes where they were not quite as effective. I would worry about tripping over it if I had one.

Another hot day in Sydney coming up. I haven't really noticed the heat because I am inside with aircon through the day and when I come out it is a lot coole, though I am sure once the ground heats up over a few days, there won't be that sundown cool.

Have a great day everyone.

Hi Stringers ๐Ÿ™‚

I guess the robo vac mightn't be as good as I hoped. I think Donna has one, I might ask her.

I've been out, came home, about to head out again, then home, then out again. It's Groundhog Day X 2.

I'd like a robovac too, mainly because i like that youtube video of the cat riding around on one. If they work well, that would be a bonus  Cat LOL

Good morning everyone and it's not looking too bad ๐Ÿ™‚  I think the worst of our weather is over, fingers crossed.

I thought I would ask in here because if I asked where it happened it would be off topic but seeing as we don't have a topic (just quality posts Smiley Very Happy) it would be ok.

If you have a post removed and you don't get a message, is it a slap or not?  I don't mean a post that was following on from other ip or off topic ones.  Just my post alone.  What's the go?  Is it because some nong has reported you and the mods can't figure out why?

I think the mods just pull some posts - and threads themselves, without it even being reported sometimes?

And it's possibly not a slap well that's the way I take it
