Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

I'm glad to hear she's OK , we had a problem when we had pet rabbits, rats and mice would burrow under the wire to get in, they do anything to get at the food, awful. I had to put planks of wood with bricks on top around the outside of the cage to stop them, it didn't look too good, but it worked

I was thinking of getting a few chooks, pimpy, but the snakes are a worry... I'll check another day to see if the mesh worked. Snakes are so slithery they can get in anywhere...including one time in my loo lol

I hate mice too..

#7 is also a lie  (it actually depends on whether it's a full moon or not Smiley LOL)

I think brown snakes can have orange spots on their bellies, and stripes. I used to get adders at Walgett, they are stripey too, but the end of their tails are skinny, and then there are the taipans.... whistle.gif

I want chooks, but I have a cheeky fox sneaking about.

Round Table Revisited

Years ago when all our children were still living at home we bought a new stove..........one that had four plates instead of three.

Anyway..........one day the plates just stopped working.

So we called in the electrician.

The stove was near the fridge (dumb place to put it............we moved it later)...........so when the stove was pulled out and the electrician was behind it there really was not much room...........plus we had over  head cupboards above.

He bent down and pulled out this rather dead mouse and said, "This is your problem.....he nibbled on the wires and electocuted himself."

I went into our laundry to get a few plastic shopping bags to put the dead mouse in.

The electrician bent down to pick it up for me...............and all of a sudden he swore and tried to jump out from beside the stove.

Remember that old saying.................you never have "A mouse".............you always have "Mice"

Yep..............our little dead mouse had a friend.

The electrician pushed past me............and turned around and said................."You need to get a cat".

Didn;t have the heart to tell him that at the time I had six cats................how does he think I got the mouse.

The rotten cats were too well taken care of...........if they brought a mouse into the house and it ran away from them and hid they would just let it go................and I would smell something horrible a few days later.....Cat Surprised

LOL, reminds me of the time we had a big tough bloke come to do some electrical work for us. We wanted to put some outlets in so we could plug the big generator direct to the house. Anyway the fuse box he needed to work on was a favourite hiding place for frogs. This big tough sparky refused to do any work until I had removed all the frogs from the box for him. Sook.

I have mice in the house thanks to my dratted cat.

frogs?? Lol. Mine is more scared of big spiders than I am. One morning I got up to find a huge huntsman in my blender, I couldn'nt work out how it got there then OH told me he caught it during the night and the blender was the only thing he could find in a hurry with a lid on, lol

Haha he put it in the blender? That's so funny!

I have heaps of critters here...a gecko in my bedroom, heaps of birds, lizards (big monitors), snakes and frogs. No mice, thankfully, the snakes keep the population down lol

I'd rather have a snake than mice.

I have to edit to explain only the gecko is in my bedroom, not the birds, snake and other critters ๐Ÿ˜„

The gecko eats the mozzies and moths, he's very cute and chirrups at me. He lives behind a painting.

I used to go to Bathurst every year when i was young enough...camp on the mountain and watch cars go round and round. Loved it! But you need to be young to cope with the hoons and crowds.

When I typed hoons it autocorrected to Joono lmao so I had to fix it.
