Sad news from the Zoo Deb ๐
I saw an amazing picture taken by Scott Ball the other day near Lake Varley. He was on a chaser bin out there during the harvest - talk about being in the right place at the right time. He sent it into WA Country Hour - I tried to grab it to show you all, hope it comes out ok. It is a wedge-tailed eagle catching a fox! Makes me think of that song Flashie's grandies like 'What Did The Fox Say' lol

That is an amazing photo Laney. I'd never have believed it possible if someone had just told me about it - one less feral animal to worry about anyway lol.

It is amazing TGSE - I heard him interviewed and he was saying he was just in the right place at the right time. Talk about an understatement lol
I was concerned about reproducing it here so had to wait until I checked his name to make sure I attributed it to him accurately.
Edited to ask a fellow sandgroper a question TGSE - are you having a problem with Portuguese millipedes at the moment? I had heard they were moving towards the coast but did not realise they had got this close. Friends in the hills had problems with them last year but not so much this year.
