Boy that heat got to me, even the air con did not make much difference.

Why do I feel the urge to start dusting????

They were incredible temperatures in Sydney today. It must've felt dreadful with the humidity and pollution... hope it's cooler tomorrow? 

I don't have the urge to dust, but to return stuff to the skip lol

Everything was hot to touch. There was no relief, no cool spot, wet sarongs dried within minutes, etc. etc.

But the cool change has come through and it is much more comfortable.

Much cooler today, almost cold. How weird is this weather!!!!!

Our backyard looks like a mild disaster zone. Overturned potplants, huge pieces of gum tree bark strewn all over the grass, etc. etc. It would seem the winds were as strong as I thought they were 🙂

It is council pick-up weekend here and as fast as the neighbours are putting out their unwanted items, scavangers are taking it away. The council drivers won't have much work to do on Monday at this rate 😄

Morning all 🙂

Survived  that horror day yesterday thanks to Mr Frost aircon at work. I worked thru lunch so I could leave early to get my hair cut. Jumped in the car and had the air on full bore driving to the hairdressers at the Workers club in Blacktown. They have aircon on steroids, I can tell ya's. Went in and invested $40 in the machines afterward. Also had a free drink voucher for renewing my membership so I got a schooner of light (beer).

Got into an argument because 2 blokes next to me kept dropping the F word, and I told them off about it. I must not have been the only one because not long after, the duty manager came over and told them to get out. They didn't go easy, smashed a full glass of beer on the floor on the way out. What a waste of a good beer!

I went on to a small win and ended up doubling my money.

Very happy with my hair.

Cool change overnight.

Win/win/win.

morning Prim & Icy

😮 Prim that must've been some cool change. One of my friends has just returned from Port Macquarie and she was saying how hot it was up there & a cool change came through the night she was leaving so the planes were grounded due to a large electrical storm. She has an epic tale of her return trip, she reckons she's jinxed when it comes to flying

Icy, I like win, win, win as you know  😄

they really should stop serving people drinks when they start behaving like that, you shouldn't have to put up with it

Good morning Stringers 🙂 I've just said goodbye to the Jehovah's Witness pair and I took a copy of the watchtower because I was too chicken to say no :^O  I rejected their offer of a free bible, but it took a major effort. I told them I have a bible in a box somewhere but they said I will enjoy the watchtower much more if I read it alongside a bible. Oh no, that means they'll come back to check :_|

When they left they bumped into a wasp nest and did a little girlie squeal :^O
