A really lazy day watching the cricket for the balance of the day (in aircon comfort).

Sounds like some of you have been busy, busy!  

I was just having an attack of the 'z's - had to think twice with busy - said buzy first 

Must have been playing cricket in the heat lol lol

Talking about aircon - j*oono - that is a real pain.  Isn't it Murphy's Law that you have problems with it at this time of the year.  Hope you can get it sorted before Christmas

We had a lovely night at the street party, it wasn't our street but they call us honorary members lol. It was nice to catch up with some neighbors we have't seen for awhile and others who've become close friends over the years.

Anyway, I'm so tired that I'm calling it a night

Glad you had a good night at the street party Deb. We are a bit like that here, we don't see our neighbours often so do a lot of catching up at our Christmas Eve street party. It is a mini party with just those in our cul de sac but good fun anyway.

My last week at work this week and I have about a month's work to do in 4 days. This will be interesting LOL

Good morning Stringers - at least those of you who have surfaced .......

Good to hear you had a good evening Deb - hasn't society changed a lot ...... that we have to wait until Christmas to catch up with neighbours and friends! Some neighbours you would think twice about catching up with but others are real treasures 

Prim - sometimes you wonder whether taking holidays is so beneficial when you have the stress of anticipating what needs to be done in your absence and what will be waiting for your return.  I am sure you are up to it though and you will manage it in your usual dedicated manner.  Apart from catching your breath after a very difficult year, your holidays are well timed for the Australian Open 

Deb and Iza - enjoy your days, whatever you are up to.

I am postponing anything I should be doing today to watch the cricket - hopefully to see the cementing of expectations of the return of the Ashes lol

Our grandchildren have gone on an allday excursion to the pool.

But because our middle grandson has had a eczema break out he is here home with me............and I think he is on a mission to eat meout of house and home.

Except he has decided he will not like spring rolls.............he knows this because his Dad tried them once.......
