Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Flashie,,when you're around, I recorded Sara Beeny's Georgian Christmas.

It was really interesting and explained where a lot of our Christmas traditions came from, but my goodness, the food they ate was disgusting. Christmas started with a "Yule log" thrown on the fire and it was supposed to burn for 12 days

They feasted for 12 days, rather than just Christmas Day as we do.

Shopping AGAIN Deb!!!!!!!

Feasted for only 12 days? I think we all manage to do that 365 days of the year lol13_a.gif

Sorry Deb - I am feeling in a somewhat frivolous mood Smiley Wink

I accidentally did some shopping today.

Went to get food for the kids after work and accidentally bought a leg of ham, smoked turkey breast and 2 big boxes of lindt chocolates #HB ๐Ÿ˜‰ Was going to buy that stuff on Sunday but I saw the stuff and thought, bugger it - get it now.

I also accidentally bought a bottle of champagne, which is fake because the Australian stuff is not allowed to be called champagne any more. They had the real stuff from France but that **bleep** was 4 times the price. I'm saving it for mother and I.

โ€œIโ€™ve got my purse and my gift and my gloves and my selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitor and my monoamine oxidase inhibitor and I have my anti-anxiety disco biscuits and I am ready to go. I am really ready!โ€ Sheila

Oh Buzz - your accident was beneficial then.

At least you don't have to do it tomorrow WHEN YOU HAVE STARTED YOUR HOLIDAYS!!!!!

That has to be a bonus Smiley LOL

Who can I blame? I was sure I got some wrapping paper but it wasn't in my Christmas shopping pile. I checked the receipt and it's not there either. Somebody made me forget!!

that means all my presents will be wrapped in green and maroon paper lmao. It's the only paper I have and the reason I have it is because it's very ugly so hasn't been used in other years. It's also cobwebby in the tube and dusty on the outside.

Laney, great list! Soon you'll be able to add my wrapping duties.
