Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Good morning Stringsters

The house stayed hot overnight and it feels like the house is fulll of the heat of late afternoon sun. Whinge.......

Sounds like yesterday was very successful Deb. Good on  you...it is not easy organising parties and to be doing it at this time of year takes stamina.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Stringers 🙂 Im heading to the chocolate Christmas party soon, I hope it doesn't go on too long. It's a morning tea party.

Too much to do, too little time, but it always turns out fine in the end so I'm not going to worry about it.

Good morning everyone.  Not much happening today.  It's a day too early to start the food prep so just some last minute grocery shopping and that's it.

I hope your tea party is sort of fun and with lots of chocolate Karen.

Have a good day too Iza.

We are finally all organised.

I bought the raspberries this morning............we found a guy on the side of the road selling fruit and veggies.

He was heaps cheaper that the supermarkets.............Coles had 125 grams for $5.95.........this guys were twice that size and only $8.00.

I can't wait...........I just love raspeberries.

While we were out our youngest son thought he would run the mower over the back lawn to lend a hand............so now we have a nicely mowed lawn.............with a cricket pitch rolled down the middle...........looks like he means business in this years back yard cricket match.

Good morning Stringers Smiley Happy

Prim, I hope that your aircon has cooled the house down and that you can get done what you need to with your Christmas preparations.

Looking forward to hearing what a blast your Christmas party was Karen Smiley Wink  Did you end up with chocolate in your hair like j*oono?  Worrying about things which may or may not happen is like paying interest which is not yet due lol.  I gave up worrying a long tinme ago.  Oh and thanks for the reminder about the smokes - picked up a carton on the way home from the gym (what a contradiction eh lol)

Flashie, did he also tape up a few windows in preparation?

Deb did your OH manage to get up and moving eventually?

Iza - hope you are all organised for Christmas Day and that the piglets are as happy as ............Smiley Wink

Hi Stringers 🙂 Hectic day! and I didn't get time to do my shopping, so I'll have to bulldoze my trolley through the crowds tomorrow. I guess it won't be as bad here as it is in the city.

The chocolate party scored 6/10. They had a table full of chocolates and lollies and they had lolly making games. It was all going well until they did that horrible thing where everyone had to state their New Years resolution...**bleep**...it's Christmas, not new year. After that, the party turned dull, but I couldn't sneak out for a few hours.

Then I nearly got walloped by a guy with aspergers lol! I said something about feeling jittery from eating too many chocolates and he took offence to the word, insisting I should say quivering. Criez. He talked about it the entire party...he wouldn't stop...he kept asking why I didn't say the right word....I didn't want to say bleeping quivering but in the end I did cos he was getting worked up lol

He also told me he cooks a huge feast every New Year's Eve for a party but never invites anyone. I said I'll come but he said no 😄
