It's all looking OK Prim but my legs are killing me. They are not getting any younger!
Just a couple of minor things to take care of now so I'm just having a break and then I will take care of the custard. I'm surprised you don't like custard. I just think it is the bestest thing ever! I hope no one minds that I don't top the silly thing with cream because that is all a bit rich for me.

I saw Donna Hay's Christmas show and she was making a trifle. It had a custard layer and cream mixed with mascapone cheese layer, etc. etc. and I thought wow, instant heart attack for me LOL
I have tried custard over the years but my gag reflex kicks in. I must have been forced to eat it when I was young
My legs are tired too. I have had Panadol breaks 🙂

Good afternoon Stringers and happy Christmas to you and your family Purple_Haize
I succumbed!!!! Don't you just LOVE the summer fruits?
I could not stop at the raspberries and came home with fresh lychees, rambutans, blueberries, strawberries, luscious figs, green grapes, apricots, nectarines and a couple of mangos. Overkill you think?
I just could not resist
Flashie those lilies always remind me of my Mum - we used to call them November lilies - perhaps they are different or just different names in different states.
Prim, it is probably a good thing your cul-se-sac party has been postponed (sad for the kiddly winks though) as it will enable you to catch your breath a bit!

I have no idea what their real name is Laney............I call them Christmas Lillies because we get them at Christmas time.
I have the last lot of washignup in teh sink..................well for today anyway.
All the Christmas boxes are under the tree.
So if it isn't bought........wrapped........or........packed.........we will just have to go without.
I hope everyone has a great day tomorrow.

Lovely card Flashie
The track record of the Flashie household having a great day is undeniably a winner but I add my wishes for a great day to you and yours tomorrow in return.
I am sure, like me, that many posters will be waiting expectantly for your always humorous reports

Thank you for those Christmas wishes Flashie. Enjoy the cricket match 🙂
Rain is expected here so no outside activities will be possible. I might run a card tournament. I have scratchies as prizes every year.....you would think I was giving away the actual amount of their winning worth given the energy invested in winning the events LOL
