Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Flashie. I am cooking burgers with the lot tonight. We're having some rather nice weather here ATM & I still only have one Roma tomato growing out of 4 plants..

Karen, I'd rather eat a tomato than a persimmon anytime

I am going for sichuan stir-fry beef.  I am in love with the Lee Kum Kee stir fry sauces that come in little sachets and I've been using one most weekends.  They are all beautiful but this is the first time I will be trying the sichuan one.

Here it is :_|

Oops it's sidewise.. See those round things? I'm sure they're tomatoes?

Karen it's beautiful. It must have belonged to a Jewish couple, as the star is a stylised Star of David and the little plant thing in the mother of pearl represents the Menorah, the 7-branched jewish candelabra.

I have no idea about the fruit thingys

Please don't paint over it.

Oh no Icy.  She's not painting that one.  It's the other kitchen dresser.

i might paint paint the kitchen dresser, but maybe not cos i feel a bit sorry for the person who restored it from the last person who painted it.

You could go halfway and distress it, Karen.

I think it's distressed enough, now that it's living in my house ... and I'm sure I'd wreck it if I tried to anything more technical than painting or sanding lol

there was another kitchen dresser at the antique shop. It had panels of blue glass and the shop keeper was telling me how special it is to find one with the original glass intact. She kept trying to sell it to me... until I said I'd probably break the glass. Then she suddenly changed her mind... she was treating the antiques like her babies. I think I was banned from buying that dresser after that.

There is a place in Sydney that dips painted pieces in vats of something and it comes out without a speck of paint. I don't think it would be cost effective to send yours down here though.
