So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

Morning everyone.  That's just horrible Deb.  If the giraffe couldn't be included in their breeding programme, why couldn't it be transported to another zoo or a wildlife park?

I couldn't bring myself to look at the video or all the pics.

Hi Joono, that link is OK the video is just an interview with the zoo person.

they have given a few reasons/excuses for not transporting it to another zoo. Some places even offered to purchase the giraffe but were declined.

I wouldn't be able to watch what they did to it either. Yet they invited children to watch

I have to head outside and see what is going on.  It looks all sunny from where I'm sitting but I can hear thunder!

I don't get that Deb.  They did the autopsy in front of the public.

I saw somehting somewhere about a cyclone forming off WA  but i didn't read all the details
