I am putting off going to the dentist.

I said to myself.....put it off just until you get through Christmas.

Then I said to myself....put it off until you finish babysitting and get back to work.

I wonder what I will say to myself next week when my last excuse has ran out.

Maybe I should just get someone to make me an appointment and then I will have to go.

It took me nearly 10 years last time..........................did I mention I have an irrational fear of dentists.

Our grandson is still not over Christmas...........we have been watching Christmas movies this morning....................Arthur Christmas................it was quite a good movie.

Then we did our Christmas puzzles.................again.

I was thinking maybe I should have put a little mark inside the box for ever time we have done it...................I recon we must be close to equalling how many pieces by now...............200.:O

He is just playing on the sony with his favourite Uncle now.................so I am having a cuppa and doing a little read around here.

I did the dentist thing before Christmas. Christmas presents were fewer so I hope the dentist appreciated my money LOL

Talking of which .... hope j*oono's son had a great night last night .... j*oono herself was greatly missed here:^O

Prim - that Almagro/Ferrer match was incredible yesterday.  Ferrer would just not give up even though he was two sets down and had match points against him .... just shows how persistence can pay off eventually 😉

Their sportsmanship after the match was heart-warming to see.

I know I have said it before but dentists have the highest rate of suicide of any profession (my dentist told me) - it is no wonder, having to look at the terror on the faces of patients who hate going to them 😮

I missed that match but am going to try to watch more this week.

I remember watching a match at Wimbledon one year, the eventual winner was down 2 sets to love and had 2 match points against him.

The great Ken Rosewell won that match and it has stayed with me all these years. Amazing determination and stamina.

I had a lovely night and I'm pretty sure son did too 🙂 I managed to get a bit of a sleep in but still I'm a bit shattered from all the running around a cooking and panicking I did yesterday.
