I am not one for too much gardening..........and since we had to start paying for our water usage we decided to go with succulents.
Sowe got some cuttings from the local Community Centre..............and they started off rather small...........and then went crazy.
The first picture is my cutting growing in the planter box (it is about 10cms all up)..........and the second one is it 12 months later in the garden........................it is huge now......(about 50cm each flower)

I ended up going to both Mitre 10 and Bunnings. Mitre 10 only had very poor specimens of what I wanted so I had to do a complete reverse and head off in the other direction.
I wanted a decent looking frangipini with branches, which I did find but it's still quite small. I would have liked a more established looking one but I seem to be shopping out of season for the plants I want.
I couldn't even get more agapanthus. I just want a no fuss, no mess, no pruning/spraying/weeding type garden bed. Can it happen?
Oh, I forgot. Ahoy me hearties ๐

They are quite pretty ones aren't they? I'm not a major fan but those look nice. I do have some succulents out the back where it is way too hot for most plants. I can't remember the real name but it is called Jade I think. I got them from cuttings and they have grown so quickly and don't need looking after.
