Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

I like the antique tablecloth idea too, except the ugly stained pine legs would poke out. Also, I don't own very many antique tablecloths lol

Actually I do have some, in a bag, they were my grandmothers and mothers...but I daren't get them out because I'd probably wreck them.

Deb it could fit in the snake shed with the lawn mower, bales of mulch and building materials...and that is where it will go, if my son screams in horror.

It's awwwwwful!

Pot plants! Good idea!

Now I've got a bit of a plan.

1. Demand son takes it

If not...

2. Pot plants (itd have to go out the back so he wouldn't see it. He told me he built it with lots of love...criez...)

If not....

3. Snake shed

Life's not so bad after all lol

It's not so bad Karen.  It does look kind of depression era.  It would make a really good pot plant table with shade loving ferns or something on the bottom shelf.

I actually have one a bit like that which my tv is on.  It looks pretty good with the pine now that the top is polished and has gone a honey colour with age.

The legs are Jarrah by the look of it.  Mine is the same.

The legs are some kind of splintery cheap wood, stained jarrah lol

And the top may look like pine, but it's actually plywood...varnished....very ugly because at the edges you can see the ply stripes of wood.

Every time I look at it, I sneer lol

Paint it all gloss white enamel?

Stick some wheels on it and use it as a tea trolley?

Do what the twins did on the block.............cut round holes in the top................but coloured pots in it..............and plant herbs.................if youi do what Joono said and put wheels on it you could have a trendy mobile herb garden.
