Any news yet on your neighbour Freddie?

Our eldest daughter had to go to the dentist today.............a filling had fallen out...............I did not go with her as her son was sick today and he was off school here with me.

I got a phone call from her asking if I would come and get her and take her into another dentist............apparently the guy who was working on her tooth decided he could not do the root canal work as the roots of her teeth crossed over under the gum line........and were not straight down as he expected.

So I had to get her..........take her to the other dentist he set the appointment up with.............her mouth was still numb from the first dentist.

The second dentist just took an xray to see where the roots crossed so he knew where to drill........and within 30 minutes the first part was done.

Why couldn't the first dentist do tha same thing.................we have been with the same dentist pracise for nearly 30 years......................but today we did not see our usual dentist as he was fully booked.

I think I might give him a call tomorrow...........as I do not feel our daughter was treated well today.

And......................................we got a side fo beef delivered today....................boy did that take some packing and sorting.................hubby is in heaven..................Maggie is a tad annoyed she did not get any.

Did her daughter explain what she meant by non responsive at all?

That's pretty amazing Flashie.  He sang it beautifully.

I am a little surprised.  A combination of the church and love that has been lost maybe.  It's hard to know whether my favourite version is Leonard Cohen or Jeff Buckley.  Father Ray Kelly can take 3rd place.

we've had 3 days of solid rain here so far and they say again today. It was too wet to walk last night, so hopefully I'll find some time today

Flashie, Karen's commentary on Downtown Drabbery made more sense to me last night  

I wonder if it;s still going to be on Sundays or if they've changed the programming? , I haven't checled yet.

Good to read Freddie that your neighbour has improved a little..I`m a bit peed of atm my "newish car"not 1 year old  is once again going back to Volvo for a checkup..I went to start it the other day and the immoboliser message appeared & it wouldn`t start..tried again and bingo it started.Doesn`t help that  this will be the 2nd time that this has occured..so back today..I have already had the whole power steering system replaced now thisI`m beginning to think maybe I have a "lemon"!!

Happy about all this rain we are having,the garden looks refreshed and my once brown weed is now green(lawn)lol

Back on air....at last.  Telstra have a lot ot answer for. The incompetence we experienced over the last several days was mindblowing. I have 3 pages to read back. I will absorb but it will probably be too late to comment.
