Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Lol @ Maggie, she sure does like her home comforts ๐Ÿ™‚

Stringers, I went to the doctor. I waited only one hour, went in, asked for script...doctor studied the computer screen and asked if I was still smoking....gave me a 2 min lecture and agreed my lungs are black like on the pics on the cigarette packets (that was my sole question lol)...criez.....Clair....Then wrote out the script...so I paid my 75.00 and that's it for another year. Hopefully.

And in more positive news, this is my favourite time during he Easter period. The week before Easter...the time I begin eating the eggs I've bought for my son.

So far he's receiving half a packet of baby eggs and the foil from one dark choc egg. Nom nom nom ๐Ÿ˜„

JMK, give a the nicorette inhalator a go if you want to try to stop smoking. It's working for me.

Others I know are on the e-cigs but those people actually smell like tobacco smoke or maybe they are lying to me and still smoking?  Cat Mad

I don't know.

I do know I have saved lots of $$$ in the last month of not smoking and spent it on nice **bleep** for me, the kids and my Mum.

Smoking is banned nearly everywhere I work or go these days and it feels like many more people are just giving it up. The can't-be-**bleep**ed factor, because you have to walk a long way out of the workplace/ restaurant/ venue etc to have a ciggie, is having a bigger impact than I thought it would.

โ€œIโ€™ve got my purse and my gift and my gloves and my selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitor and my monoamine oxidase inhibitor and I have my anti-anxiety disco biscuits and I am ready to go. I am really ready!โ€ Sheila

Buzz I have a drawer packed full of gum, patches, mouth sprays and nicotine pills. But I prefer not to look in that drawer lol. Every time I think about giving up I go out and waste more money on products....and chuck them in the drawer.

I'd love to give up, mainly because Flashie has promised to give up her dots if I do. Oh, and for my health...and wallet...and the stinky factor.

Well done on still being off the ciggies! and Joono too.

I have this urge to swear at you both roflmao!

Kar............en.  It's really a pain to give up smoking but seriously, it's well worth it.  Not only did a close family friend (smoker) die from an asthma attack about 5 years ago quite unexpectedly, my sister in law has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer.

One of my favourite photos of her is from when she and my brother had their wedding at my house.  It is a beautiful and funny photo.  You will know what I'm talking about when you see it.

I swore I wouldn't do this to smokers because I loved it and I still reckon I will have one on my 80th ๐Ÿ˜„  In the meantime, I bought a great outfit today.
