Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Round Table Revisited

Good morning Stringsters.

It has been a bit of a long week and unfortunately my 'second job' will be extending into next week.

Flashie, I hope the cooking lessons go well.

We have not had rain here and the lawn is looking a little dry.

Have a great day everyone.

Joono, I'm happy to hear that someone else is having the same problem as me. It's not even really cold here and I'm eating chocolate in one form or another every day

What's happened to my willpower???

Morning everyone.  Are you still on jury duty Prim?

It's because winter is coming Deb.  It's your bodies way of saying feed me for survival and it's not asking for low fat yoghurt and celery.

Yep, still on duty. We only start deliberating on Monday so maybe one more day, maybe more.

From my perspective it will be extremely hard to reach a decision which will be a true reflection of what I inwardly 'think' and 'believe' because all the legal instruction is, and rightly so, a guidance to exact legal process. However, after hearing those instructions (but without having to process them yet) I was left wondering how anyone ever gets found guilty in this country. Not being secretive but I can't be more specific at this time.

I know you can't discuss it Prim but it does sound interesting.  Can't wait to hear after it's over.  If that is allowed I mean.

Good afternoon Stringers Smiley Happy

Such a slow start to the morning that I missed it altogether lol

Not really - have achieved heaps workwise already and figured it was time for a break and a coffee.

It is soup weather here today - trying to decide whether to cook that or some muffins.  Not being a chocolate eater like you girls the muffins satisfy a craving for something sweet for me.  Will leave the chocolate to others lol

I am looking down the throat of a HUGE project at the moment, strategising the best way to attack it but excited at the prospect.  It is going to severly limit my time here (but that has been the case for a while here for various reasons) as I really need to focus. Anyway, enough of me Smiley Embarassed

Prim it would be difficult to put the trial out of your mind totally and have a break from it over the weekend but you really do need to do that for your own benefit - if only for a few hours each day.  It will also enable you to re-focus on your deliberations with a clearer head on Monday.  Only you know what is best for you though so I shall get down off my soap-box lol

Deb - I seem to recall the football followers in your home are Tigers supporters ...... they must be very happy right now!

Nics - you would be happy with the result for your boys last night also.

We have a bye here this weekend which is actually quite a nice break.  Not so for the 'other' WA team .... that is going to be ummmmm interesting lol lol lol.  Much as I am not a fan of the Eagurls, nothing could persuade me to barrack for the Pies lmao smiley.gif

Hi Laney, we didn't watch the match but it was a good percentage booster for us. Not too sure about our current coach, the team are either really good or really bad, can never tell which it's going to be.

OH is watching the eagles and Collingwood ATM, close-ish game that one
