So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

I won't be Flashie.  Modern Family and MasterChef for me tonight.  At the moment I'm just trying to rescue this dumb soup.  I've spent two days making it and I think it's a dud.  Oh well.  The bread rolls will be nice anyway 😄

We had hamburgers for tea tonight.

It was pub day for the boys........so I never know how many are coming home with them.

What kind of soup are you making.

I watched the catch ups of Master Chef yesterday.

Scotch broth.  I wanted to try this recipe because it uses fennel but I'm not impressed with it.  I think I would like it better if I used chicken stock or just the lamb.  

They usually repeat MasterChef in the afternoons the next day too.

I don't always have time to watch the repeats in the afternoons.

The tomato and carrot soup I made yesterday turned out alright....well acording to hubby it did.........I hate carrots so I did not have any.

There were some good singers on tonight Flashie and some hard choices had to be made. I'm glad that the 2 who were offered 2nd chances got through,they were too good to let go I thought.

I don't watch the Voice, I am not all that much into talent shows, though I used to watch the audtions for them for the funny bits. 

Hopefully my life will get back to some semblance of normal after today and I can get here more often.

We were upreally early today as hubby had an early morning Doctors appointment..................but the Doctor rang in sick.

That's a nuisance Flashie.  Doctors shouldn't be allowed to get sick.  Doctors and hairdressers 😄

I've got a sisters morning on the cards today.  Just as well because the weather is too dreary for much else.  My new roses have gone all droopy with no sun and getting soggy.  The red one has bloomed and it is so beautiful... except droopy.
