Hi Joono, it's beautiful here. I had to rush off this morning to meet up with 3 of my neighbours at a clocal coffee shop. We meet up like that 2 or 3 times a year. You should've seen the huge cakes they had.

but I was good, just a skinny latte for me (not that it helps)

Our daughter took us out for tea tonight to say thank you for our babysitting and school runs.

And I was naughty and have dessert...............cheesecake.............macadamia an mango.............it was beautiful...................and I guess I now owe the exercise bike a few more minutes tomorrow.

But before we went out I had spent the afternoon washing all of the boys bedding.............doonas.........mattress protectors..........the lot.

I was sick of that "boy" smell.

Now I do not have the energy to get it all back on their beds.

I would love to see the looks on their faces if they came home from work and all that was on their beds were their pillows.................

I've been naughty all week really. I started off OK today but this morning one if my neighbors gave me a bag of Christmas cookies, they were fruit & nut on a dark chocolate base ( from Zimt's Nic knows how nice their cakes are 🙂 )

Anyway, I thought I would just try one, but I ate the whole lot lol

That's the hard part, when you're doing the bedding, putting everything back ( especially doona covers)

Because I'm little I have big trouble with our queen size lol

Frankly Flashie, they couldn't care less.  I do that and they are quite happy to sleep on a bare mattress.  I think it is a bit different for the male of the species.

another beautiful day here today, not quite sure what we're doing but we're going out to enjoy it later

we're going back to lower temps later in the week so should make the most of it

It is already 28 degrees here...................crazy weather.

Hubby is off on his bike ride............I bet he comes back all covered in sweat...........I don;t know why he did not wait until it cooled down.

I have been invited to an alcohol party this afternoon...........I am not sure why as I don't drink..... I always feel I should buy something when I get invited...............maybe I can buy my brother something.

What is that Flashie.  Is that like a tupperware party but they are selling booze?

If you don't want to buy then you have a good excuse being teatotal.

A lovely day today and I have the use of my car so I will probably go somewhere.  At least this week I have managed a lot of steps on my pedometer.  I went shopping last night and restocked the fridge and cupboard.  It is a lot cheaper not having a car because I usually shop every day and buy unnecessary stuff but I didn't on foot because I would have to carry it home.

Still, I hope we get the car problem sorted out sooner rather than later.

When we went shopping the other night our car decided  not to start.............and I had to push it............not happy Jan.

No idea what was wrong with it............it has started fine every time since.

I buy all my groceries in one shop................I only buy the newspaper in between............if I forget something when I shop bad luck until next week.

I hate unpacking it all when I come home though.

Yes.........it is a party where they sell alcohol.............it is one of the mothers from the school...........her son and our grandson are good friends......................our daughter is going too.

The sell all kinds of alcohol in fancy bottles..............last time I went to one I bought a friend a bottle of wine with gold flakes/glitter in it for her 50th birthday.

I have moved my aerobic stepper to in front of the air conditioner.................I am not stupid...............hubby looks exhausted for his bike ride................it is now 30 degree here.

I have hung a wet towel over my guinea pig cage until it cools down later...............I have lost some in the past because of it being hot............and the ones I have left now are older guinea pigs so are more inclined to feel the weather.

I've never heard of an alcohol party before Flashie, I wish you hadn't mentioned your stepper, I really should be using mine. I've just looked at it every now and then so far, lol
