Haha look at that. Oscar even has his own pillows.
Morning everyone. I didn't know I could arrange flowers so nicely ๐ I should have put some red in the vase as it doesn't match the cushions very well. I used all pink and pale with a few yellow tulips.
Not sure what I am up to today.

Good morning Stringers ![]()
Nics I laughed when I saw Oscar doing exactly what LL does - despite having her 'own' beds around the house, the new lounge seems almost magnetic to her.
Prim - are you surprised I thought similarly? Alarm bells for sure!!!
Hope your Christmas lunch with OH's family was enjoyable yesterday - maybe you ate too much and that was the cause of your early rising? It IS going to be a long day for you ![]()
j*oono - which shape did you choose? Have not done mine yet.
Nothing much on the agenda here today - a lazy day after a busy weekend sounds the ticket. Might get to the outdoor table which badly needs re-oiling ..... then again might not
Deb I think you went shopping yesterday ..... was it successful?

I used the blue vase - bad move cos it gets lost in the lounge colour lol
Back to the drawing board.
Small things I know but it suits the 'do nothing' day lol

I used the tall pinkish one Laney but I think I will have to redo mine and make it more Christmassy with some red in the green vase. Pink just doesn't seem to work LOL

I let the grandchildren do mine...............I think I can safely say none showed any signs of being a future florist.
Between Laney's advent calender and Norad the kids love my computer of a morning.
Hubby bought himself a mini gym thingie today to go out in the gazebo................half my gazebo is taken up with gym equipment now................![]()
We also had to buy hubby a few new clothes...............none of his trousers fit him any more............(which is a good thing)..................you can get away with tshirts and shirts looking a little big...............but trousers and shorts are a different manner.
Thank goodness for Rivers..............his work clothes don't usully last long so we don't like to buy expensive stuff.

It's easy to get a bit too carried away with the flower arranging so I had to pare it back a bit ๐
Hubby must have lost a lot of weight now Flashie and I suppose you have too with all that walking. I think I will have to have my Curves weigh in before Christmas and I'll just skip the January and February ones.
on โ08-12-2014 12:36 PM
We have lost 23kg between us.............hubby is close to his right weight.
I have a bit more to go............(I have never been a skinny person)
Hubby is hoping to get a few more off so when he gives up smoking it wont hurt him so much if he puts a little bit back on.
He has set himself a goal of giving up smoking when the grandchildren go back to school in February...........he didn't think he could do it before then.......................he doesn't want them to see him grumpy.

Flashie - that is FANTASTIC!
Well done to you both and good luck to him for his plan to give up smoking.
I am not so disciplined - have put on a couple of kgs over the past few months - too much office and paper work and not enough exercise ![]()
This will change after Christmas ![]()
Good thinking j*oono - about Curves lol

I had better do it this week Laney because the Christmas eating has started already. I was given a big box of Godiva (only the best in the world I think) chocolates yesterday and they are yum.
What a terrific effort Flashie. I hope he is successful with giving up the smoking. My brother is on Champix champex whatever it is and gave up about a week ago but I haven't heard yet whether things are working out. He is quite a big bloke and he has also bought himself a fitbit pedometer to encourage and motivate him.

Never heard of Godiva chocolates j*oono - but then I am not a chocolate eater.
Enjoy them and don't let concern about the 'consequences' impact on that enjoyment .......
On that premise, I have just returned from a visit to Elmars - blue cheese stuffed olives, chicken liverwurst, German potato salad, thuringa brattwurst and crunchy fresh bread rolls............ I am salivating just writing about it all lol
The scales can go take a flying leap for the time being
