Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Morning all:)

Not sure what I'm doing up so early, everyone else is still snoozing away. Hope you all had a great day with your families yesterday. My family played Bocce ( sort of like lawn bowls) instead of cricket due to dad's accident last year.

I feel as if I've put on weight already, lol it was a big day for us, so hopefully some R & R for us today. I know hubby wants to watch the cricket. I might head down to the local shopping centre, just for a look later on.

It rained so much late last night I thought the boxing day test might be cancelled, but the rain seems to have cleared up now and it's nice and sunny. Dad is pretty excited, he and BIL are going to watch the cricket from a private box today

Good morning Stringsters

It seems you all had a lovely Christmas Day which is nice to read. I hope Santa was kind to you all.

We had a bit of a disaster yesterday because of a huge electrical storm which resulted in a blackout for us.

We were nearly though lunch but we couldn't have dessert because we needed electricty to prepare it.

It was an extremely hot and muggy day and because of the rain we could not sit outside in the cool so being inside with no light was a slight dampner on the proceedings. Luckily DD and family were off to see his family for the evening so they could get away from the lack of electricity.

I think OH will be watching the cricket today. I will be reading a book, something I don't often get a chance to do.

Have a good day everyone.

Hi Prim

I read that you had major storms up there, but despite that, I know you still would've had a lovely Christmas with your family.

luckily for us, it didn't rain here until quite late last night so by that time we had all moved indoors anyway

Morning everyone.  Prim, you must be so sick of the storms!

We had a lovely, busy, chaotic family day.  I think I'm going to go back for seconds as there was enough catering to feed a small nation.

Afternoon Stringies.  Yes, I did it.  Christmas day part 2. I actually think I ate more for lunch today than I had yesterday.

The rest of the day will now be a cup of tea and some good veg out time. I hope no one wants me to cook dinner because I don't think I can fit anything else in before next Tuesday.

It was great to speak to Karen over Christmas.  I don't think she burnt anything!

Good morning Stringsters

We had such a late lunch on Christmas day that we had the prawns meant for dinner that day, last night. I guessed at a cooking method to create a grilled prawn dish I had at a Christmas lunch. I just about got it right and OH said they were delicious so we have a new recipe for the book.

Karen was in great form and her lunch sounded delicious ........and unburnt. 🙂

I haven't eaten any chocolate yet but I have nibbled away at the licorice allsorts.

Today is the day to put things together and find out how they work.  Wish me luck 🙂
