Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Round Table Revisited

oh hi Laney, I have trouble catching up with you lately lol

I had to promise OH that we'd be back today for the end of the cricket.  A good win!

The Toodyay one is the one I read about, they say they lost 3 sheds and a house?

Hope everyone is OK

Is this early in the season for you to be getting fires, you've already had a few

We are like ships that pass in the night lately Deb - guess it is the result of the 'silly season'

Well - a win would have been better than a draw - but still we have won the series.  I felt sorry for Marsh getting run out on 99 and actually wondered why they didn't declare earlier but figured it must have been because he was so close to the ton!

Boring for you I guess - but it really was enjoyable to watch today (plus it was cool indoors)

Not sure how much they have lost up there - waiting to get a phone call.    No so early really - in fact summer has arrived late - but with a BANG!  Anyway - its the price we pay I guess.

I think we have an extra 30 mins. time difference between us now? maybe that's why we keep missing each other.

I also heard you had windy weather earlier, I hope that's died down a bit otherwise it's hard to gain control the fires

Still the 3 hour time difference Deb - at least between us and Vic/NSW

It has been windy and the easterly winds are horrible.  Those are the ones that j*oono hates too - they are hot and horrible, having come across the continent.

Fortunately down in Freo we don't get so much of them - at least not as much as j*oono - and the arrival of the Freo Doctor is always welcome at this time of the year

I would imagine it would be - the parking I mean

Crowds put me right off too although on a boat at least you are pretty much sequestered from those (except for the other boats)

I noticed the total fire ban.  There's one  of those huge neon signs up to remind people at the end of the road towards the hills.

It means no open wood lit barbecues even if you are camping. It's a dangerous situation here because of the extreme temperatures and quite gusty winds overnight in my area.
