Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Round Table Revisited

Good morning Stringsters

We have been MIA (partly not intentionally). We got home from our week away and decided to go away again for a few days and it lasted another week. Drove up to Port Macquarie with lots of stops along the way and back again. We are checking out possible retirement towns.

It reads like you have all had busy times over the past few weeks.

Nothing seems to have changed much on CS with the political and 'look at me' threads still trying to overtake the happier or real life threads. I do wish we could have a special boards for politics. Where I sell, their forums have all political and religious threads/posts banned. This rule does not inhibit the forum at all and it certainly seems to be what the majority want, because if someone forgets or a new person posts about such things, they are gently reminded by the rest that it is against the rules. It works and it certainly seems to encourage a more 'community' feel, much like CS was before politics reared its ugly head here (even with the bickering).

It is a work day today so no time for a long post. Catch you all later and have a great day.

glad you're back I was wondering whether you were still away  or having trouble logging in.

One of my friends was up at Port Macquarie at the same time as you. She did send a pic of the beach. it looks pretty nice there to me

Morning everyone.  Good to see you again Prim. Retirement hey? You are looking forward to that I'm sure.

It is such a quiet morning here.  I suspect that a lot of drivers that use this road as a short cut between two highways have found a better way with all the road works going on at the moment.

No plans today apart from the usual.

Good morning Stringsters

I am not sure when Joono, but I know once I don't have to get up to that darn alarm clock I will be a lot happier. Especially in winter.

My first day back at work yesterday was so busy the time flew. I hope it does again today.

I watched the tennis until late so had little sleep. I wonder if I could manage a nana nap under the desk? 🙂

Have a great day everyone.

Morning everyone.  Up bright and breezy this morning and waiting for the plasterer.

Not my favourite kind of day having to stay home with a stranger in the house but it's good to finally get something done about the cracks.

Good morning Stringers Smiley Happy

Prim - it is great to see you back - you were very much missed.  Pity your holidays did not align with the Open though ...... what a fantastic match last night.  It is times like that I just love the three hour time difference lol.

We have some fabulously bright new stars coming through the ranks - exciting times.  Just hope they can emulate the sort of sportsmanship Federer displays.

Had a very torrid meeting last night but the results are pleasing.  Means I am going to have my work cut out for me over the next 12 weeks though!  My project managing skills are a bit rusty these days but I have a great team on which I know I can rely.

Great news about the plasterer j*oono - lucky you got in just in time.  Some good things come from the boards Smiley Very Happy
