Good morning Stringsters
It is the most beautiful morning here. A perfectly blue sky, not hot..not cold, the birds are tweeting and I have a coffee in front of me. What more could a girl want ๐
Nics ๐

It is raining here..................bonus...............it means I can cross mow lawns and use sprinkler off my list without even leaving the house.
Anyone have any special plans for Valentines Day.
None here..............I do plan on making hubby's favourite lamb casserole though.

Morning everyone
It's about time you had some perfect weather Prim. It's not bad here today either so I'm not complaining. No plans today. My flowers and chocolates haven't arrived yet so what's the go with that? ๐
Nics, is it back on or someone new? I hope you have a lovely day.
I have a horrible job to do. I'm going to go round and wash all the skirting boards and decide whether they need repainting. I just can't seem to get started.

Joono.............did you wash your skirting boards.............that is a job I am not fond of.
I forgot to say I like the colour Hogsbristle..........that is what we got the outside painted with.
I always pride myself on picking decent presents for my family............so could someone explain why I thought it was a good idea to knit a cardigan for my nephews baby which is due any day..............................he lives in Darwin.............I am guessing it might be a bit of a useless gift.................not my finest gift choice........![]()

Oh dear Flashie. I think you might be right LOL. Knitting jumpers for a Darwin summer! ๐
I'm afraid I did not do my intended job. Feeling much too lazy today. Hog bristle must be a popular colour. This week I found out that one of my nieces has it on her walls but in half strength and it looks really nice. At least her mum thinks it is half strength but it is already quite light so I hope that quarter strength will not be too light. It's a nice shade though so I'm going to go ahead.
Prim, I have been trying to reply to you and thank you for the red wine jus recipe but the email is just sitting in my outbox and won't send so I've tried again a couple of times. I hope you don't get too many emails from me when they finally decide to go ๐ I don't know what the problem is.

They all eventually arrived thank you Joono.
I hope you enjoy the recipe as much as we do.
The star anise and cinnamon went well in it tonight and cut across the pork flavour beautifully. OH is a happy little Valentine tonight, he got his favourite pork belly and finished off with caramalised flambe strawberries and ice cream. I think I may have used too much grand marnier as OH had a little nap while we were watching a movie after dinner. ๐
