Deb I ended up buying a pair of "easy step" black leather boots at Myer`s..they have atm  25% off so I saved just under $60 which is better in my pocket than theirs..no show re coffee this arvo..wasn`t 100% sure of him but now convinced he is a scammer..have since reported him to the dating site..shaking my head..he looked a spunk too

I was having a chat to our eldest grand daughter earlier today...............she made her football debut today.

There are not enough girls for a netball team at her school............so if she wanted to play winter sports she had to play football.

This was fine by her.............she is going through a bit of a tom boy stage anyway.

I asked her how they went..................she said they lost.............but not by much............only 28 to 128.................and she scored a goal.........................(for the other team............no one told her they changed ends each quarter......................)

Her brother played on the same team..................he does not have a competitive bone in his body............I asked him did he get a kick...........he said no.............but that was OK because he didn't want one anyway.........

Seems like I have to scroll a long way down the page to hit the threads.

Things are back to normal now.

Too early and too cold so far.  I had to be up at 6:30 so I would be awake when the painters arrived.  Hopefully this will be the last weekend but it might take an extra day.

The soup thread got to me and I'm making chicken stock for a nice chicken minestrone.  It was a toss up.  I wanted lamb and pearl barley but we took a vote.  I will just have to add some pearl barley to the minestrone won't I.
