Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Hopefully this will be it now Deb.  Let's hope nothing else falls apart in the next 10 years... touch wood.

We went to watch the grandchildren in their cross country race today.

One grandson lost his show running down the hill because he had not done up his velcro properly and missed the start.................he ran as fast as he could to catch up..........the parents on his hill cheered his efforts.

Our other two grandsons did not enjoy the race as much...............one is not competitive at all.........and the other is just not a distance runner.

But our eldest grand daughter ran like the wind...........(good to know that she can run faster than the boys..........it is a skill she is going to need in the next few years.)

For sure Flashie.  She is such a pretty young lady.

My boys were not paticularly competitive either but they did enjoy sport. I'll never forget when the oldest one took up indoor soccer with his friend (primary school) and they would just stand there having a chat whilst the other team scored goals around them.  To make it worse his friend was the goalie... to start with.

Well you all had a lot to say today.............Cat LOL

We had the spicy parsnip soup with rolls for tea again tonight..............it is definitely one to cook again............that is when parsnips don't cost an arm and a leg to buy.

Today was a quiet day for work............so I went to the cemetery this afternoon...........it was my Mums birthday today........sadly she has been gone longer than she was here.

I took our youngest grand daughter with me..................she is just starting to understand that people are different things...........she knows I am her mothers mother..............and that today we went to see my mother.................but NO WAY is her Poppy anything other than her Poppy...................she wont even believe me he has a christian name.................Nope................he is just her Poppy...............and if she had her way he would be just hers..................and the others could go and get their own......................(it secretly pleases hubby that she loves him so much..........Cat Wink)
