So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Happy Independence Day to those who celebrate it and good morning folks 

Wonderful pic Flashie and it's interesting - like j*oono said - Jupiter was quite a bit lower than Venus in the night sky than it looks in your son-in-law's picture.  I am sure someone who understands astronomy more than I do could explain it lol.

Hopefully the cloud cover and rain might be gone by the evening j*oono - heres hoping anyway.

Morning coffee (and my other vice) is a good way to get the day going ................

Good news for the Tigers again today Laney, did'nt watch it but heard it was another close one

It was touch and go there for a while but they bucked up and achieved a good result in the end!

I didn't watch it but had the radio on in the background while I was fiddling around in the kitchen

Achieved very little today and it looks like the clouds will obscure our view tonight 😞

We went bike riding again today........

While we were riding we passed this little girl learning to ride.

Her father was on one side..........and the dog on the other.

She was saying to her father not to let go .............as she thought she would fall.

But..............................it was not her who fell.....................It was me.

We got to the end of the bike track and I was getting off the bike and I must have clipped the bike lifting  my leg over it.................and next thing I know I am laying on my back looking up at hubby standing over me.

Then I can hear the little girl behind us saying to her father.............Look Dad...........that lady fell off her bike.

I had to laugh...............I must have looked like a real nit.

But............I will not be beaten............I am going back tomorrow...............and I WILL ride without falling off this time.............................

But, but, but Flashie you DID ride without falling off!

You only fell off when you stopped to get off - it was obviously your way of getting off quicker.  Look at it that way lol

How is the saddle going - getting less uncomfortable for you?
