So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

We are going for a walk today..............not sure how many layers of clothing I am going to need though.................it is freezing outside.

We are going to BBQ a few hamburgers when we are done...................I had to remember to put a lighter in my pocket.................normally it would have one in his pocket...........................but we are three months no smokes now.

It was a harder journey than we though it was going to be............and we don't want to do that again.

The other day I was at my part time job..........and the newsagency across the road was held up.

I wear headphones when I work.................I did not hear or see a thing..............I got a huge surprise when I went to walk home and there was all these police cars eveywhere.

Morning everyone.  I don't think I could wear headphones Flashie.  It would be like sitting with your back to the door.

Well done to your husband.  3 months is a landmark.  The next big one is 7 months.  Then it all gets easier. That's the very thing.  You can't give in because the thought of doing it all again is horrible.

Not walking weather here today really.  Very grey but I think we've only had about three drops of rain.

your story reminds me of a friend of mine who walked past her local bank and saw all the staff on the floor, she thought they must be doing some kind of fitness regime and found put later it was a hold up 

I haven't been for a walk for for a couple of days, it's ben too cold, might try later today

I have to ask - are you carrying the hamburger makings in a back pack along with the lighter?

A lazy weekend planned. Came home from work yesterday with a migraine aura.  No screen time - either computer or TV - got rid of it before it worsened.

My sister sent a text message about the snow at their home yesterday morning.  The only problem was that it came through at 5.00am -  she had forgotten about the time difference 

Huge day sport wise this weekend.  Usual orders apply .........

My phone usually starts beeping at me at 6 am.  Some people like to play words with friends very early.  I must remember not to make my last move before I go to bed.

We do need to lift today but I hope that the fact we are playing Carlton does not make them too certain they are going to win.

Eagurls Vs Pies today - whilst I would never, ever barrack for the Pies I could be tempted today lol

Saw that snow Deb In Qld - it was in the granite belt .... Stanthorpe etc and whilst they have not had such heavy falls in the past, it is not totally unheard of.

In my youth I recall heading home up the Pacific Highway after a ball and it was snowing at Pymble (upper north shore for those who do not know).  A ball gown - in the snow - not a good combination lol .
