mum's easy scone recipe
3 cups S/R flour
1 cup lemonade
1 cup cream
sift flour into bowl , make a well in centre, pour in cream and lemonade. Mix with knife, turn onto floured board and cut into rounds with a scone cutter.
Bake in hot oven 200 C 10-12 mins or until golden

Quiche and salad here tonight - a real summer dinner!
Who said real men don't eat quiche lol
Tomorrow night will probably be just the opposite of a summer meal looking at the forecast.
Deb - the warm weather - like the cheque - is in the mail (no really, it's on its way to you)

I'm amazed at how easy it looks and only 3 ingredients. I haven't made scones for such a long time as I hated that "rubbing in the butter" method. Hubby thinks they used this scone recipe on one of the boats when they used to do "high teas"

I have not made them for years either but you mentioning the recipe spsarked my interest.
Will certainly give them a try and if they don't work out, I could always use them as door stops lol
