I did an emergency dash to the Supermarket.

I thought I would make the grandchildren some banana and choc-chip ones.

I am also still playing around with a recipe using equal.............I have got some date and walnut ones in the oven now....................I keep having trouble with stuff sticking when I use Equal.

I can't used patty cases with it....................it sticks so much that you loose half the muffin peeling off the paper...............I will keep trying.

Our sons mates are here tomorrow..............so they will clean up any cooking disasters.

are there Equal recipes on the internet??

I am using my normal recipes and substituting the same amount of sugar for equal......................apparently that is why it is called equal....................but it is rather expensive.

I was right on both counts ..... it has got quite chilly here tonight and I have done nothing, nada, zip lol

Hmmmm date and walnut?  Thanks for the reminder - have not made them for ages.  Slices not muffins though

Didn't that lady on Restoration Australia have the patience of a saint?

TV programmes, weather reports and cooking tips .... we are an informative little group and our repetoire is expanding exponentially lol

Morning everyone.  It's a gorgeous day!  Even better tomorrow with a sunny 26 degrees.  We'll send it to you Deb.

I did have a good haircut yesterday but I had to wait until nine last night when my son's girlfriend arrived after work for anyone to notice 😄

She liked it a lot and then my son said, "oh, I thought you looked different.'

it's pretty good here too,  heading out to lunch at one of my favourite places for a friend's birthday- nice day for it
