Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Your clivias look very healthy Deb.

Many months ago my next door neighbour pulled out all his clivias and put them on the verge for pick up. I asked if I might have a few (given they are about $20 for a small plant in the nurserys). He said to take them all, so I did. My backyard looks specacular at the moment LOL.  Mine are all the orange colour but I have always liked that colour.

I think they're lovely Prim- I've also got a different orangey one with smaller , more narrow flowers. You did the right thing in collecting those as they are expensive to buy as you say...

Our problem is curl grubs. Each year when I repot our potted plants, there are always dozens. They really curb the growth of my plants but nothing seems to get rid of them. I think the problem may be that we have a large backyard and the garden beds span the fenceline all the way. I think my neighbours and I share back and forth as we try to eliminate them.

They are white and fat and look like witchitty grubs. When  I find them in the soil they are curled up. I guess that is why they are called curl grubs LOL
