So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

I gave up in the office and ended up watching the last few laps lol

You girls sure have been busy - Deb am I remembering correctly that you have some of those fairy-like lights in your garden or am I just imagining it?  They would make it look like fairyland - not that it does not already look beautiful.

That is a lovely tradition for the men in your life Flashie - and you also get some peace and quiet after the races lol

Prim - were you hit by that storm?  Lunch sounded delish by the way.  Nothing than fancy for us - just baps, avocado, mayo and tomato here.  Have not given dinner any thought yet - still quite warm here and I have the can't be bothereds lol

I am still  at some of the things i read - well not really surprised but there is no emoticon to express my real opinion

Good morning Stringsters

My third good night's sleep in a row. Things are looking up!

I have taken two week's leave to do our main spring planting. I hurt my back on the first day and now can't garden. I keep expecting to wake the next day and it will be better, but it isn't. Sooo frustrating.

We got some rain here too Deb. The garden needed it and the air seems fresher this morning.

It rain here last night too............................of course it did..........I spent yesterday afternoon dragging the hose all around the front and back yard.

Good thing is though....hubby thinks it is too wet to go bike riding today...........so no new bumps and bruises shall be added today.

Donut..............did someone mention donut?.............

The last time I ate a donut it was tied to a tree and I had my hands behind my back.............................we were at the botanical gardens.

We ended up rolling them down the hill.
