Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Round Table Revisited

We have no plans for New Years Eve.

We do our big thing New Years Day.

Dad always did a HUGE cook up for the family then..................so I have tried to keep his tradition going in memory of him..................minus the hagis...........(I am sure I will be forgiven for the omission)

We had a great Christmas Day....................36 degrees took a bit of the fun out of it.................but made the water fight part all the more appealing.

Only the last bit of the ham to finish off.

I got some great gifts for Christmas................our son bought me the original Poldark series............(I am loving it)

I got my usual "dead people" as the kids call it..............(12 months Ancestry)

Hubby got a fishing trip...........when we go away in February............he has been wanting to go on it for a few years now.............and although I like fishing I am not fond of boats.

So I bought it as a combined gift for all the men in our family.

When we go away and the men are off fishing us ladies and children will go and play a round of mini-golf..........(should be fun without the men to show up our weaknesses in golfing)

I found this picture for you Poddy..............(I know you read here)............and I shall respond to your post later...............I was disappointed to read it........it is not the truth........I thought we had made some sort of peace.

We are starting to take them down now.

We don't put out the inflatables after Christmas.is

I have been incredibly busy.

The people I work for have bought a new unit.............so I have had to get that up to scratch for the new tenant.

With a few tranfers going on it means I have had three empty houses to deal with.

One more week and everyone should be moved in.

Deb...........I have absolutely no respect for those that lie..............and know that they are doing it.

sounds like you are gping to be busy Flashie- I suppose I should pack up some of my solar lights soon. but usually I leave some out all year round. after a couple of years some of them stopped working. I replaced the batteries in some but rechargable batteries cost almost as much as the lights with a battery, so I might buy some more lights next year

same here... I just give them a wide berth for that reason. Some people you want to know, others you don't

Good afternoon Ladies Smiley Happy

I am reminded of a saying my Mum used 'you can lock away from a thief but not from a liar'.  So true!

Well my day did not quite turn out as expected.  I managed to get an appointment with my dentist for 10.15 this morning - my first day not going into the office for a while.

Not so Smiley Frustrated

Received a call from a colleague who claimed to be sick - so I had to rush around and open the office for the others before the dentist .... then go back to the office with my mouth packed with swabs arrrrrrgggghhhh.  Not a great day and pulled the plug early.

Wasn't the best Deb - but so much better than many so I should not complain.

Our dentist specialises in looking after cowards and when it comes to the dentist chair - I am definitely THAT lol

Yup - I have my feet up for the rest of the day now - had a nap when I got home - hate that numb feeling so a nap sounded like the ticket Smiley LOL

Hope you had a good day Smiley Happy

hope that numbness wears off quickly- it's most uncomfortable, especially in hot weather
