morning all 

yep, too late for me last night Laney

Well my tenant moves in tomorrow............and I have about 80% of the work done.

I still need to paint the laundry........hall and small back porch.

All the front yard is done.........and 1/2 the back one.

I think I have worked about a 70 hour week this week.

I am used to hard work...............but not this much physical work all in one week..................by back is protesting.

And I do not feel the slightest but guilty that I have eaten the Toblerone our son left in the fridge......................gawd it tasted good.

Our grandson is having his birthday party tomorrow.

Our daughter has put so much effort into it..............probably too much...........most of the children are 5-6.............and really don't expect too much............just fun.......and food.

Not sure if I am up to 20 noisy children................but maybe a good nights sleep might change my mind.

Hmmmm.....................I think I have a packet of cheese twisties hidden in my pantry that have my name on them..................unless one of the boys has found them.

Good afternoon Ladies 

Looking forward to hearing a post-party report from you Flashie 

Look like you are both having cooler days there thank heavens.  

38-39 here and dreadfully humid.  Much the same yesterday.  Kept up the Gatorade and it seemed to work ....at least no cramps last night.

Back home now and in airconditioned comfort - it was hot in the office this morning - stored heat from yesterday I guess.

Got the 'can't be bothereds' now .... managed to whip up a lentil and chick pea salad for lunch -  to keep us going until tonight.

Will think about dinner MUCH later

hi Laney  ooh I've been out shopping while I was waiting for my daughter to finish work. That humidity is a killer, makes it seem so much hotter- hope you get a break from it soon Laney

Sunday is supposed to be a day of rest.. but I'd better catch up on some of the things I need to do around here.  Hope you're having a break from painting today Flashie

No break................just waiting for the last load of washing to finish..................and then back to painting.

The party went great yesterday...........the children loved sitting in their cars (boxes).............paying their money for their orders................chips...........hot dogs...........drinks.......and icypoles.

I cooked 5kg of french fries..............

After the movie they had birthday cake................and then did some outdoor stuff.....................the 4 hours went surprisingly quickly.

Great sentiment Deb .... is that after the loaves and the fishes and every other thing? 

This wearing a track to the office just has to stop I'm telling you!

Flashie the party sounded like so much fun - your DD has obviously inherited your sense of fun.

Clouding over here now and storms are predicted but I get the feeling they will not eventuate.  Still very humid but it looks like you are having similar temps today Deb ...... no going shopping though to get into the cool girlfriend 

It's a laugh a minute around the traps - rhino hides come to mind  (not surprised though)
