Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Morning Ladies Smiley Happy

Flashie - I bet you are going to enjoy your weekend away after all your hard work.  That dig would be fascinating - you know what a passion I have for archaeology.  It is a slow and painstaking process but hopefully they might uncover some interesting artefacts whilst you are there.  That would be amazing.

Went into office this morning despite sleeping in and decided working from home was the better option.  The ability to keep an eye on the tennis at home (which I could not do at the office of course) has absolutely nothing to do with my decision Smiley LOLSmiley WinkSmiley LOL

Nose back to the grindstone now .... catch up tonight

Ferrer is playing so well Freddie - in what must be very difficult circumstances for him given the crowd support for Lleyton.

At least Lleyton never gives up the battle but I fear this is the last match we will see from him.

Strange isn't it - so many folks did not like him before (including myself) but he has proven to be a real asset to the sport as he has matured.

A remarkable career.  Well done Lleyton!

Agree Laney it's been an exciting match shame it's looking like it will be Lleyton's last.

A commentator described him as a brash teenager who has grown into a statesman - they got that right.

What a beautiful interview with David Ferrer though - brought tears to my eyes Smiley Happy

Laney Mr F poked his head around the corner and caught me sooking Woman LOL It was a fitting tribute to a champion and good to see  the respect from his peers.

The Princess is battling Laney she hasn't really picked up since having shingles a few months back her food intake is becoming less and less and sadly her will to keep going is diminishing. Old age isn't all it's cracked up to be.

morning all

Freddie sorry to hear that, shingles really knocks older people about badly- my Dad had them a few years ago , I've never seen him in so much pain., and it took him ages to recover.. I do hope she picks up a bit
