We stayed up too late watching the equestrian events last night - turned alarm off this morning and slept in. Thankfully someone rang us and woke us up lol I hold my breath at every jump but I guess many of us do that. Amazing animals and the bond between horse and rider is palpable.
Ok Freddie - a test question ......
What is the difference between basketball (just watched our girls win against the French) and netball? Is there any difference? I used to play inter school comp basketball at school but that was ummmmm - a couple of years ago and I cannot remember what the differences are (if any). Can you or Prim enlighten me as I have never been into netball.
Oh Laney that question has made me LOL firstly in netball you don't bounce the ball you also can't run with the ball on landing you must pass the ball without travelling
Netball positions also dictate what area of the court you may enter
Maybe Prim and I could do a youtube vid of us playing in our netty gear that way we could explain it better We will need
to check if Prim is up for it first I have a lovely pair of netball shoes which will make me look the part.

Thanks.
So I guess 'Stringers' must be those people who do all the beautiful things the song says you can do with string - what a lovely thought.
I specially liked the bit about mending broken hearts and holding friendships together.

It actually says string cannot do those things you mentioned.
Good luck at the doctors about your cataracts.
Are you going to have a hearing test?
It really sux when things start to pack up when we reach old age.
But one consellation is the supposed gaining of wisdom.

Freddie, you can't go on holidays without going shopping - hope that knee is OK now
nice little song there lollieman... Was it made for pre-schoolers.?
string is a useful thing but of course it can't fix everything ๐

Symphony orchestras have a whole section devoted to string.
And what would Robin Hood have done without a good strong bowstring?

Evening Stringers
Sitting here wondering what possesses some people to do the things they do.
In Laverton in the northern goldfields of WA 20 household pet dogs have been poisoned over a 10 day period!
Sure eclipses my complaint that my school 'basketball' might in fact have been 'netball' based on your description Freddie
Will wait for the video you promised
No RIO today - up to my eyeballs in WA legislative jargon today. Even brought some home but have made an executive decision not to open the file tonight .... tomorrow is another day lol
More rain and cold .... this is getting ridiculous!
Hope you all had a good day
Flashie what DID you do to your knee?
RIO catch up here I come .... catch up later Stringers
