I have watched Broadchurch.................both series...........loved it.
Has anyone watched Outlander............another favourite of mine.
I had a bit of a cook up today.
Hubby and I are going away for a few days and I know they veggies in the fridge wont get eaten by our son.
School holidays here...........I can't believe how quick first term has gone.
Our eldest grandson is loveing High School.
He has been invited to join a Junior Local Council thingie.............and it is wonderful to see how important it has all made him feel.
Our new little grand daughter is smiling..............she is a "hollywood baby"
One of thos e babies that you only see in Movies...............she sleeps, wakes up for a bottle, goes back to sleep.
And this little one has a hint of redhair...........(like her mother)

I forgot to tell you a funny little story about the Easter Bunny.
Our girls live next door to each other.
This year it was our eldest daughters turn to play "Easter Bunny"
This involes nibbling the carrots left out at each house.......and drawing the rabbit footprints from one house to the other.
Now we are not sure what happened or if it was just by chance.
But..............
As our eldest daughter was down on her hands and knees drawint the varioius rabbit footprints needed and Police car pulled up.
They were quite concerned that she was putting graffitti on the houses.
She explained that she was just doing the "Easter Bunny" thing.
Her hubby pops his head up from in th garden and told them he was hidding the eggs.
The Police told them to keep on doing what they were doing and off they went.
We still dont know if they were serious when they stopped or if they decided to play along.

I think season 3 starts in September.
I haven't been able to talk our girls into watching it yet.
I spent today getting everything ready for our little get away.
Hubby had a little giggle at me for fussing about making sure everythign is all neat and tidy before we go.
He figures I am wasting my time as our son will still be here...........and he is allergic to cleaning....(not really)
I was going to pay our grand daughter to come and feed Indy..............but Indy has taken a dislike to her for some reason.
So our son is just going to have to do it............it is suppose to be his bird after all.
But since be became a father he has kind of lost interest in her..............but we love her so all is good.

Lovely to pop back in and see your fun family stories again Flashie - I am sure I am not the only one who has missed them.
I have never heard of Outlander but if it has an element of sci-fi in it - count me out lol.
I guess I have missed you and you have already left for your few days away - hope you are having an enjoyable time.
Not much of import happening in the wonderful west today - a magic day though. The City seems to have survived the Street Art Festival and judging by the comments, it was one of the best ever. A lot of work sure goes into the organisation of it and so many artists giving of their time freely.
All will be revealed tomorrow on Broadchurch - it is going to be interesting to see - bet we are all wrong
Much sadness here at the moment with the loss of such a beautiful young girl and debate ensuing over installing drum lines, culling or removing the great white from the protected list and allowing shark fishermen to catch them again. Time will tell what action will be taken - if any.

Hi Laney,
outander is really a.Scottish history lesson. It's about a woman who touches a stone in the 1920's that sends her back in time. It's actually very good, I'm not a fan of sci fi either
So said that news about the young girl, those beaches around Esperence seem to be a bit dangerous.. are they remote surf beaches?
Flashie headed off this morning hope she's having a great time

A really lazy night here ...... not being able to do much else it becomes a pain - but when you CAN do other stuff, being lazy is not painful at all
Aren't we contradictory creatures!

Hi Deb
Is it available on free to air? If you like it, I might too.
They seem particularly bad down there Deb - all reports say that since the great whites have been on the protected list they have been breeding uncontrolled and their numbers have ballooned. The attacks are not limited to there - many in the South West - Gracetown and that area too.
The beaches east of Esperence are isolated and perhaps that has a greater appeal for board riders too. They don't have to battle with body surfers to the same extent.
Acquaintances of ours used to babysit the girls as they were growing up - the extended family is understandably shattered. Difficult to stop thinking about her
