Great to see you too Flashie
School holidays starting for you - we have one week left of them over here. The weather has been pretty revolting for the kids and their parents ........ keeping them occupied when they cannot go outdoors and play has been a trial for some.
Not sure what a greenlight project is but it was super that your SIL could have his lessons for free. Gosh, he will not know himself with the freedom having a licence gives him. Further afield for his photography but then from the pics you have shown us of his, he never seems to have been lost for subject matter and family to drive him places.
Talking of photography I have just been looking at the current photo comp. Just love that one of yours of what looks like a Japanese Garden to me - also love the one just below it - the wooden flowers in the windows. Just a bit different.
Deb I guess the footy followers in your family were not too happy with the results today. Nics will be pleased with her boys match though and Flashie - a draw is better than a loss for the Hawks lol
Back to the tennis here - perfect weather for sitting and doing very little .... except getting all that match practice and exercise

The Greenlight Project is a program ran by our local Community Centre where you can have free driving lessons.
The picture you liked was taken at Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden.

The other picture was taken at Oatlands.............I love the old buildings there...........I have heaps of photos of them.
I lived in Oatlands for a brief time in my teenage years when my brother was the Policeman there.

Hi Ladies
Thanks for that link Flashie - what a beautiful garden. I looked at the seasonal changes which were magic. The autumn ones reminded me of my garden back in the Mountains - that seasonal change we don't really get to that extent here is something I really miss. Have to satisfy myself with the WA wildflowers lol
Those honey sandstone buildings in Oatlands are divine - they have a warmth that limestone does not ever seem to get.
I did not watch that match Deb but read about the results
We just had a win over the Kangas - was listening half heartedly. Wimbledon has taken over for the moment - could not resist getting up at 2.00am this morning to watch Federer. What a master he is!
My early morning has given me an attack of the 'lazies' - have achieved very little and just thankful that Sunday is a day of rest at Wimbledon so not another 'early morning' for me.
Edited to say that I am not finding it particularly slow at the moment Deb but I have not been around much - have probably just missed out. Perhaps it is related to the changeover? Who would know with Ebay

Morning Friends
Loving Wimbledon (well most of it) but body clock kinda turned upside down as a result. Every year I forget how it impacts on me. At least this year, not working is making it easier .........
Not getting a great deal done during the day but then it does not really matter
Derby Day here tomorrow and the last one at Subi before the move to the new stadium. Much rivalry here in the west at the moment!
Hope you are all well - look forward to catching up when Wimbledon is over this weekend.
GO Dockers and GO Roger!
