Forgot how time consuming the tennis and cricket were 
Cricket over now - not really into the ODI format .... at least until after the Australian Open.
Something to be said for being housebound at the moment - noone can criticise me for doing nothing 
Freddie - I think your knee replacement is just around the corner .... hope it all goes really well for you and you are back tripping the light fantastic soon.

Sandy should be soon back from her trip south too - hope that all went well for her.
Smell of smoke yesterday morning assailed our nostrils - watched with some apprehension what was going on up around Mundaring - thankfully the rain early this morning will have eased the emergency up there. Sure hope so anyway.

I'm in love with young Alex what a humble loveable young
man. Mr F has instructions to organise a Hospital TV whilst i'm
in theatre - I can't miss the Tennis - Yes I think Sandy should be
back home anytime now. I should be home before Ooaks
goes in poor girl it's been a long drawn out session for her but
she's done amazingly well and has a good backstop with a
wonderful hubby.

Some great tennis and some interesting results ....... not so wonderful commentators thought with their ridiculous questions.
Alex's intensity and his 'mindfulness' is amazing ....... what a lovely young man. I suspect there is a little jealousy in the Australian camp though as I heard a derogatory comment by Kyrgios about Alex's 'bluewall' stance suggesting he knew little or nothing about thugby league.

Well that was a fantastic Australian Open ..... both the finals matches were well worth watching. We did not mind who won the ladies final but felt a bit sorry for Simona who had played so well throughout the two weeks.
Roger ..... well he is a legend. What am amazing sportsman and an ornament to the sport.
We now have the Davis Cup and FED Cup to look forward to ..... I am sure you are ALL delighted
..... and then the Winter Olympics.
No wonder Freddie wanted to get her knee done and dusted before they started - might have curtailed her 'half-pipe' runs
Magic weather here but a few fires have sprung up this afternoon - down in Albany and also closer to home ..... not ours thankfully. Hope DFES get them under control quickly.
