Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Spot on (on both counts) TGSE Smiley Wink

So much for retirement - have agreed to help with some administrative stuff for a local organisation.

Heading off to a meeting to see exactly what this entails and how frequently.

Have a good day Friends Heart

and I think that was where my mother learnt to perm hair - yes mine Smiley LOL

OMG I looked like a little redheaded gollywog - the horror Woman Very Happy

We my 4 brothers and I learnt to swim in the local swimming hole - fun times.

We also learnt to ride poddy calves down the main street Woman Embarassed

Have a lovely week-end Laney I hope your weather is nice we are having another

cold snap with some welcome rain.

I hope you had a great reunion yesterday Freddie.

I can well imagine the hi-jinks you got up to - growing up in a small country town certainly had it's advantages.

It was a different time then too - that old saying that it takes a village to raise a child certainly had currency here then!

TGSE I figure that I use it or lose it - the tasks are not complex - more organisational -  but really need doing so I am pleased to be able to help given I can choose my own hours.  I can do that whilst my boy is busy with other volunteer work.

Did you get the amazing light and sound show last night?  Lots of rain, lots of lightning and cracking thunder.  Just love those storms when one can be safe under cover at least.

Hi Laney, Deb, she ele,

Deb the reunion was at the little village we lived in prior to the PO/home  picture.

My Dad was the PM there as well. We had the best time - Mr F had a siatic pain so

we intended to stay for about an hr then come home - he had some ibuprofen caps

so was OK and we ended up staying until about 3 oclock. We had the best time,

typical country town hospitality where the women get in and work together with the

cooking and organising - Not many recognised me Woman LOL even with the hints of

I had red hair, I had 4 brothers, Smiley LOL it wasn't until I mentioned the PO that the

penny dropped and then I was asked what happened to my red hair - LOL at them

expecting my hair to still be as red as it was back when I was a little girl. The oldest

Lady there was 91yrs and she took one look at me and knew who I was - the cooking

they done was amazing food galore - some lovely old photos and they announced they were

doing a buy a paver to put into the walkway path at the school - so I bought a paver and

asked for my parents name to be put on it - I'm also organising to have a engraved plaque

put on the wall of the hall in memory of Mum & Dad. Dad did a lot of work on the old original

hall that was burnt down Woman Sad he also organised quizz nights and concerts back when

we lived there - I was pleased we went.
