Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

I haven't even thought about Easter yet Tas..

while we're 'self isolated", we''re getting a few chores done around home.. the veranda floor we've just finished replacing... we looked for weeks for methylated spirits to clean it down but couldn't get any, so we opted for another decking cleaner

Hi Debra, we're doing lots of things around the house also, things we may not have even really bothered with until now with all thi unexpected time on our hands.

Even the garden (well, it's not a proper garden .. blush blush) is looking respectable with lavender we have planted recently.  We decided on the drought tolerant kind because we can't be trusted to water it as much as we probably should .. Smiley Embarassed

How is everyone handling all this Corona Virus stuff.

Our 8 year old grand daughter is a little traumatised by it all..

How does one so young understand all this.

Especially when things are chaging everyday.

Our daughters live next door to each other ............and have a gate between their houses in the back yard.

Normally this gate is open all day...........so the kids and dogs can come and go as the please safely.

But our new little grand daughter is only 3 weeks old and spent a while in NICU on a breathign machine.

So she is not allowed any contact with anyone if possible.

Our 8 year old grand daughter is frightenend that means that her new little cousin is sick.

She isnt now..........it is only a precaution.

So the best they can do is hold the bay on the back door step and yell out to each other over the fence so they can see she is alright.

This will pass...............and I knwo we will all get through it.

I just hope it doesnt leave any scares.

it is hard on the young ones Flashie,, hopefully in time that gate can be opened again and things will feel a little more 'normal' to them.

I heard a politican say that children feel safer at home than anywhere else  and I agree with that...  here in Melb most are complying with staying at home...  when i do go out to the supermarket, I'm noticing there's not the usual throng of mothers with young families about and it's so quiet everywhere

after only one week orf 'self isolation" we're going a little bit "stir-crazy' but we are getting some things done around home.... we were thinking we might go for a walk around the block tonight to get a bit of excercise. the phone is getting a good work-out.. checking up on family and friends

It's sad Flashie but kids will adapt and understand it's for their

safety. Look out when that gate opens again they will run mad Woman LOL

Deb it's good those home chores that have been on the back burner

are getting ticked off the list.

I've been cooking that keeps me occupied for a while. Eating it is another

issue I will need to deal with when the gate opens here Woman LOL
