Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Morning Nics

About to head off to work but delaying my departure to listen to a bit of the cricket and get up to speed with the shenanigans in the US Congress.

We sure live in interesting times!

38 on the horizon today - thank heavens for airconditioning lol

Enjoy your day 😁

Afternoon folks 🙂

I wonder how many ebayers in Adelaide queued up to smell the corpse flower!!!!

Was very hot here today in the wonderful west so I was very glad I was in airconditioned comfort at the office.

The Australian Open looming - and Nics you will be pleased to know that AFL training has started already (at least over here) with the Eagurls starting early as they have a lot to catch up on lol

For some reason cannot 'get into' the Australian Open this year ..... perhaps the absence of Ash and Roger might have something to do with it.

What do you think nics?

Will just have to rely on Prim for updates lol

I rarely wish to be back in Sydney but I would next month for the recital series 'Live at the Great'  being performed at the Great Synagogue in Sydney. It is one of the best kept secrets in Sydney - even without the recitals, it is such a beautiful building.

Laney I have been watching the tennis and enjoying it , at least most of it`s live and not repeated stuff like on the other channels. Not too sure if much play will happen today as it`s raining here. I don`t mind a bit of the cricket as well!

enjoy your day.:-)

Morning Nics

Sure did watch it - was barracking for Kokki but it was not to be.  Having watching it for so long I could not consider not watching it through to the end!  We are 3 hours behind the east coast so it was not nearly so bad for us but I could not help thinking of the audience there - in the cold weather - staying to watch right to the end!  Amazing .........

Lazy day for us today thankfully - only one meeting to go to and a bit of shopping - so more tennis I think lol.

Enjoy your weekend Nics - are you going up to Yea?

Hahahaha a fly on the wall hey!  I bet you would like to be 😀

Hot as Hades here today and for the next few days too - was looking forward to sitting in airconditioned comfort watching the tennis ..... the best laid plans of mice and men though 😓

The air-conditioning just packed up .... why do these things always happen on a weekend or a public holiday?

Trying to get someone to look at it and if necessary instal a new one is nigh on impossible at the moment.

Oh well thankfully neither of us are in the same position as the dear friend whose funeral we attended this morning!

One must be thankful for small mercies
