The less said the better about the footy over the weekend 😞  So glad we had Le Tour to occupy us .......

Thank heavens Le Tour has a rest day today cos we stayed up to watch the Championships this morning - a really fantastic result for the young Spaniard.  What a delight he is!!!!!

Laughed when I read about Melissa's fella getting bogged - smart.... is right Nics lol

Rather sad day for me yesterday as it was my dad`s birthday and I will never stop missing him 😞

Not too upset regarding the cats losing to the lions as my late husband was a one eyed supporter. Not sure what`s going on with the eagles, so many huge losses.

Footy is a funny game at times! Good luck to your Dockers Laney.

A losing weekend for us Nics - at least Kopes boys got a win!

We have been glued to Le Tour - into Paris tonight with the expected Danish leader already known as long as nothing untoward happens to him.  The 'Femme' race commences today also but it is a  much shorter race.

Sorry your day yesterday was sad Nics - it is a double edged sword - the missing and the remembering someone who was so special to us.  Chin up Nics ..... lucky to have had them in our lives ❤️

Laney thanks for your kind words. I have also been watching Le Tour, so much repeats and rubbish on tv over here. 

Our guys didn`t play well on the weekend  always next week I say 🙂

Just a few more days of Le Tour Femme and then decent sleep patterns might be restored.

Rain and storms here today and more rain each day for the next week.  Managed to do some work in the garden in between the downpours.

The sun is out and I`m about to head off for my weekly grocery shop. My granny flat is moving along, today it`s the painters turn. Harley`s tail wags so fast when the tradies arrive.

Congrats to your boys Laney they had a good win against  Geelong. I don`t think they will be playing in the finals this year sadly.

On a good note my granny flat is coming along nicely, looks like it will be finished by the end of next week. The sun is out but it`s still cold...

Thanks for your congrats - what an exciting match it was (no matter what the outcome was).  Did not watch it but listened to it on the way home from a lunch we went to. Was super to hear our boys lift, especially at the Cattery, - it has been a long while so hopefully bodes well for next season.

Last night of Le Tour Femme tonight - back to normal routine here then lol

A granny flat Nics?  How exciting for you.  Would love to see some pics if you are prepared to post them.  Will your four-legged boy be moving in with you?  You have  a cat also I think .... puts me in mind of the cat, dog and rat principle in law when discussing moving properties.

Cold and showery again today - hope you are getting better weather over your way.  Wonder how Kopes is going in wonderful, wonderful Copenhagen!
