Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Smoked Salmon Scrambled Eggs on toast. If you want to use the potato too.. boil, then in the griller with light brush of butter to brown then apply Bernaise.

With more leisurely days thanks to abstinence (from polly waffles)

I threw together from scratch potato and leek soup and beef burgers .

Baking my own bread rolls will come later.

T.V time now; wonder how many minutes before I nod off in front of the wood heater:-)

Have a lovely evening everyone (and iza when you drag yourself away]:))

Well, the bodice is sort of done. I'll have to show you a pic in forum 5039 when it 's finished. If she's anything like me, it will take about 12 months to make :^O

I have a cooking magazine for kedgeree that uses salmon and egg.  When I suggested it I had no takers.

Anyway, I made it for lunch that weekend.  I didn't like it with salmon.  Probably smoked cod would be better because I think it was originally made with herring.

There is something really strange about a curried rice made with celery and smoked fish and egg that is kind of weird but appealing.

Good morning Stringsters ๐Ÿ™‚

Deb, I always ended up helping DD for her school project sewing as it was not something she was remotely interested in and didn't really want to learn because it had become more expensive to buy material and a pattern and make an outfit than it did to buy ready made. I always got a great sense of satisfaction from making my own as I am sure your DD will when it is finished and she is wearing it.

Off to work for me. Have a great day everyone.
