Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Thanks, Shiny. Well the weather seems to have settled down a bit though it's still showery and blustery - I can actually see a few bits of blue sky.

Arvo, Stringers 🙂 glad you got back in your group, she ele! I wonder if you'll get access to the files you mentioned.

Iza how are your chooks?. I think they're still pecking madly away?

I hadn't heard about that Deb.  It would be dreadful if it was a family home that had been owned for years.  I hope they are paid very well for their properties.

Prim, if you are around, is this the recipe that you tried that you said was beautiful?  I'm going to give it a go tonight.

Good evening Stringsters 🙂

Joono, that's the one. OH thought the sauce was great. The ginger gave it a lift but I didn't use chili flakes because I didn't have any so I just put a drop of tobasco in it. I also tweaked it by grating a bit of the rind. If you did not want to go to the trouble of grating the rind you could just put some thinly sliced peel in while the sauce is cooking and remove it at the end.

I have come home to a few orders so need to vanish for a while. Have a nice night everyone

Thanks Prim.  I did it but before I read your tweaks.  Still, it was really nice!  I like the idea of adding the zest.  I did add the chilli flakes but it was from a chilli and garlic grinder.

The boys loved it too and younger one says another one for the journal LOL.

Really I wish you could get soy sauce that is very light coloured because I think it would look prettier if it was lighter.  Yum, the fish was perfect.  Coles actually had two different types of Australian wild caught snapper and I got the yellowtail.

I had fish for tea too................nothing fancy though.............I just cooked a heap of onion to have with mine.

Having three grandchildren each day and then having to fit in my own work has worn me out.....I can not be bothered too much in the kitchen.

This reciped is actually very very simple Flashie but I'm usually pretty unadventurous with fish.  Usually I just flour it egg it and pan fry, or flour it and butter and lemon pan fry.

It's too much to spend long in the kitchen when you're working and looking after kids though.
